After review, the Zoning Administrator inerted that <br />the City Attoiney had advised concerning the road and ri^t- <br />of-way situation and stated that the Ci^ c^ only deduct <br />the street area presently used by the City in the consider­ <br />ation of the total build^le area at the side. Pe^ek <br />moved, Dunlap seconded, that the Planning Conmissibn recom­ <br />ment to the Coincil that the subdivision application of <br />Keimeth Oien be approved as sibmitted but subject to pay­ <br />ment of the Park Dedication Fee. Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />Van Nest moved, Dunlap seconded, that the Planning Com­ <br />mission recomnend to the Council approval of kenneth Oiea's <br />:o fill and grade with the stipulatiohs <br />allowed to fill around his house arid di^iveway atea in an <br />equal fiot more than ^00 cubic yards ih any one <br />place and not oaoper than 5 ^t. or within 1^0 ft. from the <br />amouiit to <br />lakaahore bacause the itdd is elevated 20 ft. above the <br />of the lot and the lot is at lake level so that the <br />Siduse was constructed without a basement and the fill would <br />compensate for fill normally taken out of a basement exca­ <br />vation and used for normal grading; also, that the work be <br />approved by the City Engineer; that sewer and water assess­ <br />ments be determined by the City Engineer and that no retain­ <br />ing walls be built except with the approval of the Zoning <br />Administrator. The underground drain tile and any change <br />in drainage would be the owner's responsibility subject to <br />approval of John Gerhardson, Road Su^rintendent. Motion, <br />Ayes (6) - Nay (0). <br />Van Nest moved, Hannah seconded, that the Planning Conmission <br />recommend to the Council approval of the Final Plat of ^e <br />Registered Land Survey of the Super Valu Stores for their <br />property located at 3333 Shoreline Drive but conditional <br />iqxjn the city's receipt of the legally executed conserva­ <br />tion easements and payment of the Park Dedication Fee. <br />Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />John Bergley, Planner with Nehiman, Chapman § Associates, <br />appeared to review, with the Conmission, the rou^ draft <br />of the Multi-Family Ordinance. The Commission discussed <br />several points and suggested: <br />1. That an M-6 zone not be granted within 1,000 ft. of <br />fhe lakeshore. <br />. That an M-6 zone be allowed only where adequate <br />highways of at least minor arterial designation are avail­ <br />able. <br />3.
