Although the City Assessor has provided <br />a rough estimate of the value of the property, the Assessor has recommended that to obtain a more <br />accurate indication of the parcel's value the City should hire an appraiser to conduct a formal <br />appraisal. Attached is a proposal for appraisal services fiom the firm of Bakken. LeidI, Janssen.Day <br />and Reach, Inc. The proposal is for a complete appraisal at a cost of $3,500. This Firm was selected <br />on the basis of recommendations by the City Assessor and the City of Minnetonka. The appraisal <br />will be completed by the end of Dnember. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to accept the proposal for appraisal services from Bakken, LeidI, Janssen, Day and Reach, <br />Inc. at a cost of $3,500, and to authorize the appraisal to proceed. <br />i
