A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT PER SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 10 <br />FILE NO. 01-2729 <br />WHEREAS. W. Gregory Coward and Katherine Coward, (hereinafier "the <br />iq^plicants") arc owners of the properly located at 1950 Heritage Drive within the City of Orono <br />(hminaOer "the City") and legally described as follows; <br />Tracts G. H. I and J. Registered Land Surv ey No. 96. Files of the Registrar of Titles. <br />Hennepin County. Minnesota (hereinaRer "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied for a conditional use permit per Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.03. Subdivision 10 to permit construction of two accessory buildings on a <br />through lot; and <br />streets; and <br />WHEREAS, a through lot is defined as a lot tiuit abuts two substantially parallel <br />WHEREAS, afler due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Plaiming <br />Commission held a public hearing on November 19,2001, at which time all persons desiring to be <br />heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br />Minnesota; <br />1. <br />2. <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono. <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File <>01-2729. <br />The property is located in the LR-I A, Single Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br />District. <br />The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on November 19.2001 <br />and recommended approval by a vote of 7 to 0. <br />Page I of 6
