Applicant: <br />Event: <br />Location: <br />Date: <br />Time: <br />JMS Homes <br />Spring Preview of Homes <br />I ISO Lyman Avenue <br />February 9 - March 3,2002, Thursdays through Sundays <br />12:00 p.m. Noon - 6 p.m. <br />The above-noted applicant has submitted a special event application for the Spring Preview of <br />Homes for the property located at I ISO Lyman Avenue. In June of 2001, a special event permit <br />was approved for this same property for the Lu.xury Lifestyle Home Tour. A copy of the permit <br />is attached, which lists the restrictions placed on the event. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff has reviewed the current application and recommends denial of the special event permit. A <br />memo is attached from Sgt. Morowezynski indicating the issues and concerns of the Police <br />Department. If Council approves the application, staff would recommend adding the following <br />conditions: <br />• Off-site parking with shuttle service must be provided. <br />• Notification of neighbors must be made prior to issuance of the permit. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve or deny the special event permit for JMS Homes for the Spring Preview of <br />Homes to be held at 1150 Lyman Avenue.
