Guy Peterson and Robin Caufman <br />September 20,2001 <br />Page2 <br />The attached revised pages of the Comprehensive Plan include a listing of numerical housing goals, <br />as well as revised language to reflect the city ’s methodology and philosophy regarding the <br />achievement of the city ’s housing goals. These revisions will be reviewed with the City Council at <br />its September 24 meeting. The goals related to townhouse units reflect the current guiding of a 27 <br />acre parcel for medium density residential development to allow a density of six units per acre. The <br />goals related to rental units reflect the 62 unit senior housing project currently moving toward <br />construction, and discussions the city has had with developers regarding a continuum-of-care facilit>* <br />for seniors.
