At that time a permit was <br />issued for the roof work but the roof extension was not part of the permit. The roof extension is over <br />the front entrance and extends approximately 3' beyond the existing roof line and is approximately <br />14* wide. <br />The existing residence w'os built in 1967 and met the 1-acre zoning standards in effect at that time; <br />the 1975 rezoning to 5-acre minimum made this site and house location very ’ non-conforming. No <br />additions have been constructed to the residence since it was built. <br />1. Section 10.27, Subd. 5(B): Side Yard Setback: To permit a variance to allow a roof extension <br />to be located 24* from the side lot line where 50' is required. <br />2.
