Gumnit request for Conditional Use Permit # 03-2869 <br />Planning Commission: <br />We Join our neighbors in the French Creek development in <br />expressing our concern regarding the Gumnit request for a <br />Conditional Use Permit for the wetland area adjacent to French <br />Lake. We share a vested Interest in a significant portion of the <br />wetland on the south side of French Lake and are very concerned <br />atraut the potential negative impact of issues such as grading and <br />filling, runoff from stables/horses. roadways and vehicular traffic <br />adjacent to the lake. etc. We fear the wildlife and habitat of French <br />Lake will be disturbed significantly as a result of the above actions. <br />Further, we believe a disturbance of the lake of this nature Is <br />unnecessary and not in the best interests of the community and its <br />residents. <br />This issue should be fully evaluated and communicated before any <br />action granting permits is undertaken.
