f emiBrr r <br />CITYof ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3 BIO _____ <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIMSION 2 AND <br />10.56, SUBDIMSION 16 (L) <br />niEi?2044 <br />WHEREAS, George Olson and Bennie Olson (heieinafter "the applicants") arc <br />owners of the property located at 2775 Shadywood Road within the Cit>* of Orono (hereinafter <br />"City") and legally described as follows: <br />Tracts E and F and G. except the northeasterly 7' thereof. Registered Land Survey No. <br />358, Files of the Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hcrciaafic: L'lc <br />property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant have applied to tlic Cit}' for a vari.mce to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Sections 10.22. Subdivision 2 and 10.56, Subdivision 16 (L) to permit the <br />constrnciion of a two stor' addition to the existing residence, such addition constituting <br />hardcover in the 75-250’ lakcshore setback zone in c.xccss of the 25 fa hardcover nonnally <br />allowed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono. <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2044. <br />The property is located in the LR-IB, Single Family Lakcshore Residential <br />2toning District. <br />The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on September 18. <br />1995 and recommended approval of the proposed variance based upon the <br />following findings: <br />Minnesota: <br />1. <br />2. <br />Page 1 of 6
