Suction dredging apparently has less of a <br />disruptive effect on the lake. <br />2. The primary disruption ceune from stirring carbon and <br />nitrogen from t;he lake sediment. <br />3. No consistent or long lasting change occurred in the <br />marsh. <br />The dredging project is now completed. The land has been <br />leveled and re-seeded with pasture grass. The spoils area has <br />been seeded with clover to facilitate the drying process.
