West Shore Lafayette Bay Association
2440 Old Beach Road
Dredging
pg 6 '. t V
Dr. Wood's letter dated January 16, 1978 explained procedures of •.
supervision as follows:
‘l.j- ’•
UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA
IWIN cmES
B«oIogical Institute
Cutl'/ge of Biolcgiral Sciences
P O. '
n /
(c) We shall conduct daily determinations of the nitrogen and
phosphorus levels in the wetland and release the water into Lake
Minnetonka when phosphorus and nitrogen values fall to the pre
dredging levels.
(d) Fiske-Subbarrow and Micro-Kjeldahl methods will be used for
phosphorus and nitrogen determinations respectively,
(e) We expect that the West Lafayette Bay Association will foot
the bill to lime and landscape the spoils area by seeding and
planting suitable trees after the project is completed.
