Zoning Administrator <br />DATE: February 27, 1978 <br />SUBJECT: Marina Committee <br />Please advise the Planning Commission that the marina committee <br />must schedule meetings to review the 1978 applications. Norm <br />Paurus is the Council member of the committee. <br />On February 23, 1978, the Council referred the following to <br />the conmiittee: <br />Windward Marine <br />Stubbs Bay Marina <br />North Shore Drive Marina <br />North Star Marina <br />North Shore Union '76 <br />Foxhill Homeowner's Assoc. Joint Use Dock <br />(referred because application shows increase <br />in 2 slips over previous authorization) <br />The Council set a deadline of April 1, 1978 for the comnittee <br />to return reconmendations to the Council. <br />The Council approved the Joint use licenses for the Minnetonka <br />Power Squadron and Wayzata Yacht Club. The City has not yet <br />received applications from Paul's Landing, Gayle's Marina or <br />Minnetonka Boat Works. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION - February 27, 1978 <br />The Zoning Administrator explained the issue to the Coinnission. <br />The Chair called for volunteers to serve on the marina committee. <br />JoEllen Hurr and Tom Frahm voltuiteered to serve on said comnittee. <br />The Zoning Administrator suggested he would contact Councilman <br />Paurus to arrange a meeting of the committee after applications <br />and material are properly prepared and collated. <br />1 <br />i
