Mr. Robert Birkeland, Mound, Minnesota, has applied for a Department <br />of the Army permit to dredge a small-boat channel on his property on Forest <br />Lake, a portion of Lake Minnetonka. The site is located in the SWii of sec. <br />7^ 117 N,, R, 23 W., in the Town of Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota. <br />2. Dredging of the channel would consist of deepening an existing inlet by <br />dragline to a depth of 6 feet. The size of the channel would not exceed <br />the dimension of the existing inlet, which is approximately 40 feet wide <br />and 150 feet long, as shown on the attached plans. The dredged material <br />would be deposited as fill around his house. <br />3.
