My response to Metro Comcil
STAFF - February 16, 1978
Mr, Birkeland called and asked that this application return to Planning
Conmisslon for reconsideration.
He indicated to me by phone that the dredging proposal would consist
of only maintenance dredging of the existing approved channel. I
Informed him that it would be best if he would come in and indicate
these changes on the old application. If he does this in time to
include the issue on the agenda we can discuss it at the Plaiming
Commission meeting of 2/27/78.
He has submitted evidence of approval of the original dredging project
back in 1972 and 1973, Copies enclosed (DNR and LMCD approvals).
I am also enclosing copies of the Planning Commission minutes of
January 17 and February 7, 1977.
J
