F <br />o <br />^ ■ <br />o <br />m^ES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON MAY 22, 1978 PAGE 5 <br />Applicant was not present, Hurr abstained from the <br />discussion as she sold the property. Durhig the <br />discussion it was mentioned that tht porch may <br />cause a line of site problem. Commission will <br />contiTiue the discussion at the site on June 10, 1978. <br />Mr. David Nitz, the owner's contractor, was present. <br />Hassel requested that the records show that although <br />he was the original counselor of record when the land <br />was originally divided and was the counsel for Nitz's <br />corporation, he did not feel biased on this item. <br />Mr. Olson stated that when first submitted this <br />application had several corners that were encroaching, <br />but it has been redesigned and now only one comer is <br />encroaching. There was discussion regarding the "bay" <br />and other aspects of the site. Hie Commission decided <br />to personally visit the site on June 10, 1978 to see <br />what the actual condition of the site is. This item <br />will be scheduled for June 12, 1978 Commission meeting. <br />Applicant was not present, lliere was general <br />discussion regarding the possibility of building <br />an accessory structure when there is no other <br />buildings on the property. Available <br />options are: 1) permit naturally available slips <br />only; 2) permit general harbor dredging for maximum <br />66 slips within D.U.A.; 3) permit channel dredging <br />and combination wet/dry stack for 66 slips; 4) rezone <br />residential to B*-2 for expanded D.U.A. -> 66 slips without <br />dredging; and 5) rezone B-2 to residential (this <br />application) which under certain interpretations could <br />expand the D.U.A. to permit 66 slips without dredging. <br />JAMES MCCLEARY <br />3445 Bayside Road <br />REZONING <br />(#390)
