Commissioner Hurr <br />seconded, a motion to recommend denial of the <br />request for rezoning by Byrdie Robb because the <br />pommission did not feel they had sufficient <br />information as to the use of the property in <br />order to address the sewer and traffic issues. <br />However, they encouraged Van Dale to discuss this <br />roore with the City and give them more information <br />regarding amending the Comprehensive Land Use <br />Plan. <br />Commissioner Hannah suggested tabling the proposal <br />which would give the applicant additional time to <br />provide the Commission with more information, <br />whereas if the request is denied the applicant <br />would have to wait for six months and then reapply. <br />He thought some consideration should be given to <br />the $250 fee paid by the applicant. <br />The Zoning Administrator added that a new application <br />''^ould have to be submitted to amend the Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan and suggested a committee be appointed <br />to review the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. He <br />pointed out on the City map what areas are presently <br />zoned industrial. <br />'^Commissioner Htirr felt they should look over all <br />the Industrial property in Orono and not just spot <br />; .zone In one area. <br />Commissioner Wilson withdrew the motion. <br />Conmlssioner Hannah moved. Commissioner Hammerel <br />seconded, a motion to table the request for <br />rezonlng pending the Planning Commission's <br />review of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and <br />that the Commission will Inform the applicant as <br />to any additional Information which may be required <br />regarding the rezonlng of this area, and that a <br />conmlttee be appointed to review the Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan. <br />Motion - Ayes (6);- Nays (0).
