Again, he <br />reminded the Commission that if the vote is <br />favorable the City would have to amend the <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan. <br />BYRDIE ROBB <br />#352 <br />(con*t) <br />Commissioner Hurr stated the Council would have to <br />amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and thus indicate <br />that the property would be considered a good <br />location for industry. The following questions <br />should be resolved: 1) is industrial an appropriate <br />use for this property; 2) what is the timing for <br />this use. <br />Jim Olson, City Engineer, recommended the Com­ <br />mission consider if this area is appropriate <br />for an industrial use and if so, they should <br />amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. <br />Mr. SJostrom commented that Van Dale is on its <br />own septic system at the present time. <br />OIn reply to a question from the Commission, the <br />onlng Administrator stated he had no complaints <br />about Van Dale dumping into the sewer, etc. <br />Commissioner Hurr felt there were several <br />questions as to the best use of this <br />land. She stated that At <br />one time this area had been considered for low <br />and moderate Income housing. She also questioned <br />if there could be a request for rezoning the <br />property between Hwy #12 and the railroad tracks <br />west of the subject property. <br />Mr. SJostrom asked the Commission if they could <br />give conceptual approval at this time.
