Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 (B): Front Yard Setback: To permit a porch to be 22.4’ from the <br />front lot line where 50’ is required for the RR-IB zoning district. <br />2. Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 (B); Side Yard Setback: To permit a porch to be 24.8’ from the <br />side lot line where 30’ is required for the RR-IB zoning district. <br />Application Summary: The applicants have requested front yard and side yard setback <br />variances to construct a front porch to the existing residence. The proposed porch is to replace <br />an old porch that was removed when the house was resided. <br />The proposed porch will be 6’ X 6’ (36 s.f). The existing residence is 28.4’ from the front <br />property line, where 50’ is required in the RR-IB zoning district. The proposed porch is to be <br />located 22.4’ from the front lot line where 50’is required and 24.8' from the side lot line where <br />30’ is required. <br />The property is located in the 500-1000’ hardcover zone. The existing residence and the <br />proposed porch are still well within the allowed 35% hardcover at 21.2% (3,718 s.f).
