§ 10.61 <br />permitted: ^ <br />Subd. 2. Signs in ”R” Districts. Within "R" Districts, the following signs <br />A. Nameplates. <br />1 . One nameplate sign for each dwelling and such sign shall not exceed <br />two square feet in area per surface, and no sign shall be so constructed as to have more than two <br />surfaces. <br />2. One nameplate sign for each dwelling group of six or more units, <br />and such sign shall not exceed six square feet in area per surface and no sign shall be so constructed <br />as to have more than two surfaces. <br />3. One nameplate sign for each peimitted use or use by conditional <br />permit other than residential and such sign shall not exceed twelve square feet in area per surface. <br />B. Illumination. Symbols, statues, sculptures and integrated architectural <br />features on non-residential buildings may be illuminated by flood lights provided the direct source <br />of light is not visible from the public ri^t-of-way or adjacent residential district. <br />u C. Setbacks, Etc. Any sign over one-half square foot shall be set back at least <br />five feet from any property line. No sign shall exceed eight feet in height above the average grade <br />level. Signs may be illuminated but such lighting shall be diffused or indirect. <br />Subd. 3. Signs in "B" and T Districts. Within the and "I" Districts nameplate <br />signs and business signs are permitted subject to the following regulations: <br />Source: Municipal Code <br />Effective Date: 9-14-67 <br />A. "B-l”, "B-2" and "B-4": Size. Within the "B-r, "B-2" and "B-4" Districts, <br />the aggregate square footage of sign space per lot shall not exceed the sum of one square foot for <br />each front foot of building, plus one square foot for each front foot of lot not occupied by a building. <br />No individual sign shall exceed fifty square feet. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 172 <br />Effective Date: 1-1-75 <br />B. "B-3": Size. Within the "B-3" District, the aggregate square footage of sign <br />space per lot shall not exceed the sum of four square feet per front foot of building, plus one square <br />foot per front foot of property not occupied by a building. No individual sign surface shall exceed <br />100 square feet. <br />C. T: Size.
