LANDFORM <br />August 7,2002 <br />(Revised August 9,2002) <br />Mike Wyatt <br />Minnehaha Creek Watershed District <br />Gray Freshwater Center <br />2500 Shadywood Road <br />Excelsior, MN 55331-9578 <br />RE: Camp Teko Hydrology <br />Orono, MN <br />Mr. Wyatt: <br />On behalf of the applicant, Temple Israel, Landform is pleased to submit the attached <br />hydrology calculations and plans for approval for the Camp Teko project. <br />Site Description <br />The site lies south of Tonkawa Road on the North Arm of Lake Minnetonka. Currently <br />the site is occupied by the E)dsting Camp including cabins, sport court, bituminous <br />parking lot, softball fields, stages, trails, etc. The majority of the storm water currently <br />'drains from the north to the south across the site through vegetative swales and <br />wooded hills down to the lake. Some of the storm water from the northwest comer of <br />the site drains into the existing wetland in this area and a portion of the Southeast <br />comer of the site drains into the existing wetland in that area. <br />Description of Improvements <br />Temple Israel is proposing to construct the following: <br />• A two-level approximately 1,400 square foot footprint building addition to the <br />existing dining hall for a total of 2,800 square feet <br />• A new pavilion of approximately 2,400 square feet <br />• Additional gravel trails to facilitate walking movements around these two new <br />additions, see attached plan C2.1. <br />• Additional trails and ramps for handicap accessibility to the Stone Lodge and <br />dining hall. <br />• Improvements to the existing open air chapel benches, railings and stage <br />•iO iUTLill north RUILOlNa SIO FlRRT AVCNUt NORTH MINNCAROUt.
