Van Zomeren reviewed the topography of the prop^ noting <br />that the shoreline contour is at the 924.9 ’elevation. The 93(y contour loUows the <br />lakeshore: the 932' contour traverses the property, so the middle portion of the lot is <br />considered to be in the flood plain. The concern is where the 931.5' elevation is located. <br />The applicant said he has lived on Wildhurst Trail since 1975. He noted that the five other <br />homes west of this property is evenly setback as proposed for tlus residence. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Stoddard mquired what the Watershed District's comments were. Rahn said the <br />Watershed did not require any mitigation for the entry, deck, and screen porch as there are <br />on post footings. Stoddard suggested relocating the structure to lessen the v^ances <br />required Rahn said his history as a contractor and buDding oflScial relates to his desire to <br />restore the cabin with the addition to square h off and has not coimdered relocation; more <br />flood plain mitigation would be required, and its present location b the high^ot on me <br />property.
