Pnig/Fclonv Forfeiture Fund This fund typically has no revenue or expenditures <br />budgeted as the amount of either is subject to wide fluctuation. The revenues <br />during 2001 were for fines, $100; and interest income from the investment pool of <br />$1,610. Those two items are the revenue budget amendments. <br />Affordable Housing Grant/l.oan Fund This fund was established during 2001, and <br />is to provide funding assistance for affordable housing to applicants who meet the <br />program requirements. The City receives funds from the Met Council, <br />Community Development Block Grant, and the State. For 2001 there was <br />$64,000 available. As this is the first year the fund has existed, there were no <br />budgets prepared. The revenue amendmen' for this fund is $32,000 for State <br />grants and aids. <br />The following are the amendments to the expenditure budgets of the Special Revenue Funds: <br />Special Revenue Funds <br />Budget <br />Amendment <br />Park Fund: <br />Navarre Park Improvements <br />Park Land Acquisition - 3770 Shoreline Drive <br />Net budget amendments <br />$ 16,000 <br />(16.0001 <br />$ -0- <br />The amendment is to fund the remainder of the Navarre Park improvement costs. An <br />equal reduction in the Park Land Acquisition budget results in no net increase to the <br />Park Fund budget. <br />Improvement and Equipment Outlay Fund: <br />Govern Software <br />Street department plow truck <br />Net fund budget amendments <br />S 7,160 <br />(7.1601 <br />$ -0- <br />The amendment is to fund the balance due on the Govern software program costs.
