The rates generally have increased <br />between 3.75% and 4.5%. <br />In addition to the general rate increase, BRA is proposing a separate rate schedule for private <br />developer work. This schedule is approximately 30% higher than the rates charged for city work. <br />BRA has indicated the higher rates are needed due to the additional liability involved with the design <br />and inspection of private utilities.
