The part- <br />time officers are a valuable aid to the department. At present, we have three part-time officers, <br />with an authorized strength of four officers. One of the three part-time officers is being <br />promoted to a full time officer position, leaving two vacancies. It is expected that the current <br />Community Service Officer will be promoted into a part time officer position leaving one <br />remaining vacancy. <br />The police department is interested in hiring a paii time, full time licensed peace officer and <br />wishes to advertise for this position publicly. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to post a position for a part time, full time licensed peace officer. <br />■ .-At./.tLM-
