This shed was <br />used for storage of bags of water softener salt at the store. They have built a new shed for this <br />purpose. Park Commissioner, Rick Meyers, coordinated the donation of this shed. It is wooden <br />storage shed 1 S' wide by 8' deep and 8' high. The shed is currently being stored at the Navarre water <br />plant site. The use of this shed has not been decided yet. The Park Commission is interested in the <br />future possibility of using this shed for a small skating rink warming house. The shed could also be <br />used for storage purposes at the City Public Works facility. <br />Council approval is required for the acceptance of donations to the City. Staff is recommending <br />approval of this donation of a shed from Rick’s Super Value Store. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to accept donation of a shed to the City of Orono from Rick’s Super Value Store.
