Variance Request: To permit 297.2 s.f. (7.5%) hardcover <br />where 0 s.f. is allowed. <br />4. Section 10.22, Subd.2 and Section 10.56, Subd. 16(LK2): Hardcover in 75-250':Within 75-250' <br />of the lakeshore there shall be no greater than 25% hardcover. Variance Request: To permit <br />2,351.67 s.f. (25.6%) hardcover where 2,292.38 s.f (25%) is allowed. <br />5. Section 10.22, Subd. 1 (B): Lakeshore Setback: No principal or accessory structure shall be <br />located within 75 feet of the lakeshore. Variance Request: To permit a variance to allow a portion <br />of the residence footprint (8 s.f.) to be within 75* of the lakeshore. <br />Statement of Hardship ; <br />The applicant has included his statement of hardship in Exhibit D. The applicant should also be <br />asked for his testimony regarding this issue. <br />Issues for Consideration: <br />1. A variance was granted in 1978 to permit the porch to be enclosed, requiring same variances. <br />2. The residence is lower than the adjacent residences and views will not be affected. <br />3. The footprint, hardcover, roof height or lot coverage by structures is NOT changing from what <br />existed and was approved in 1978. <br />4. Hardcover in 75-250' zone is slightly over the allowed amount, should applicant remove a <br />small portion of the driveway to meet the standard? <br />5.
