Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Administrator Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Public Services Director’s Reportr> <br />Item Description: Approve MNE>OT Payment-TH 12 Signals Brown Road & Old Crystal Bay Road <br />This is a request for payment from MNDOT for the City’s share of costs for traffic signal <br />improvements at the TH12/ Brown Road and Old Crystal Bay Road intersections. This payment is <br />per the terms of a Traffic Control Signal Agreement with MNDOT that was previously approved by <br />the Council. A new traffic signal will be installed at the TH12/ Brown Road intersection and the <br />existing traffic signal, at Old Crystal Bay Road will be upgraded to add a northbound to westbound <br />left turn arrow and include an Emergency Vehicle Preemption System. <br />These traffic signal improvements will be funded with Municipal State Aid Funds, and we are <br />recommending approval of this payment to MNDOT in the amount $43,200.00 <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve payment to MNDOT in the amount of $43,200.00 for the City’s share of costs <br />♦fnffir* cir»r**vi .Af>nof fUo XI410/ RoticI intersections <br />to be funded with Municipal State Aid Funds with a budget adjustment to the year 2003 Municipal <br />State Aid Fund Budget to reflect this expenditure.
