A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF <br />MINTAKA <br />- FILE #02-2839 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter “City Council ”) has <br />adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application by Boyer Building <br />Corporation (hereinafter the “applicant”) for subdivision of property located at 3320 Watertown <br />Road and legally described as follows: <br />The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 118 North, <br />Range 23, West of the 5* Principal Meridian, Also: Tlie West 23 rods (379.5 feet) <br />of the East 43 rods (709.S feet) of the North 33 rods (S44.S feet) of the Southeast <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 118, Range 23; Also: That <br />part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 118, <br />Range 23, lying West of the East 43 rods (709.5 feet) and northerly of County Road <br />and Easterly of a line described as follows: Commencing at a point in the North line <br />of t!ie Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter distant 14 feet East from the <br />Northeast comer of the West 30 rods (495 feet), 1032 feet; thence Southwesterly to <br />a point in the northerly line of County Road No. 45 distant 10.9 feet southeasterly <br />along said Road line from its intersection with the East line of the W'est 30 rods (495 <br />feel) of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; Also That part of <br />Government Lot 1, lying South of Railroad Right of Way in Section 32, Township <br />118, Range 23, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />(hereinafter "the property*'); and <br />WHEREAS, on November 25,2002 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4894 <br />granting Preliminary Plat Approval for the proposed development of a two-lot plat for single <br />family residential purposes; and <br />Page I of 3
