Section 10.22, Subd. 1 (B) and Section 10.56, Subd. 16 (CK6): Average Lakeshore: The <br />average lakeshore setback line shall be a straight line connecting the most lakeward <br />protrusions of the residence buildings on the immediately adjacent lakeshore lots. (Request: <br />To permit a variance to encroach 32’ Into the average lakeshore setback). <br />Discussion: <br />Average Lakeshore Setback <br />The existing house does not encroach into the average lakeshore setback. However, the proposed <br />pool encroaches 32’ into the average lakeshore setback on the property. <br />The neighboring properties do not follow a straight line at the lakeshore, creating varied setbacks <br />from the OHWL. The houses are also oriented to their lake so that their views, should not be <br />obstructed by the in-ground pool.
