will participate in all costs, maintenance and operation of the <br />revised Traffic Control Signal at old Trunk Highway No. 12 at <br />Crystal Bay Road. The City and County cost participation will <br />be based on a lun^) sum amount. <br />It is anticipated that Federal funding will be applied <br /># <br />to the Traffic Control Signal cost participation construction at <br />old Tnink Highway No. 12 and County State Aid Highway No. 146 <br />(Brown Road)/Brown Road, and if so, the cost of the County <br />participation construction will be reduced by the amount of <br />Federal funding. <br />CONTRACT <br />1. The State will prepare the necessary plan. <br />specifications and proposal, (Preliminary Engineering). The <br />State will also perform all necessary construction inspection. <br />(Construction Engineering). <br />2. The Cost of Construction, (Construction Cost) <br />consists of the contract cost of the work or, if the work is not <br />contracted, the actual cost of all labor, materials, and <br />equipment rental required to complete the work. Construction <br />Cost does not include the cost of providing the power supply to <br />the service poles or pads. <br />3. The State, with its own resources or by contract. <br />will perform the Traffic Control Signal, lighting and the EVP <br />System work pursuant to State Project No. 2713-75 and State Aid <br />85011R <br />-3-
