Hamm
Dear Rolfe:
Rolfe, I’m trying to clean up old files. Enclosed are photocopies of Resolutions #4271 and #4335
for your reference. As you can see, both are quite aged and have not been executed by the Mayor
or Clerk. The short version of a long story is that Mr. Hamm failed to appear and sign them in a
timely manner. We finally allowed Hamm’s anomey, Bruce Odlaug, to send them off for Hamm’s
signature, but they came back not notarized. Since August 2000 they have been at the bottom of a
pile on my desk awaiting fiuther attention. Here are my questions:
Is it possible to file them absent Hamm’s signature being notarized?
2) Given that Jabbour is no longer the mayor and hasn’t been since 12-31 -00, who should sign
as mayor: Jabbour, or current Mayor Peterson?
Note that all approval conditions of each resolution have been met; Hamm has paid his fees, and the
covenant restricting the future development of the property has been filed (copy enclosed along with
Odlaug ’s cover letter). Considering that getting Hamm’s signatures notarized may be as difficult
as getting his signatures was, please advise as to the most expedient method of getting these filed.
Sincerely,
-I
Michael P.
