staff Recommendations: <br />Staffs conclusion is that the lot orientation and the ability to have a detached garage 10’ from the <br />road are unique circumstances which, in this case, with the level of existing screening, support <br />the granting of a variance to allow a greater side yard adjacent to street setback by attaching the <br />garage. <br />Staff recommends that the requested variance from the side yard adjacent to street setback be <br />granted with the following condition; <br />1) Any existing fabric and plastic hardcover on the property must be removed before a <br />footing inspection will be approved. <br />M03-2S79 Gary Hegene: <br />3/13/2003 <br />Pagf 4 of 5
