If. <br />2000-2020 CMP Amendment #1 (MUSA) <br />February 20,2002 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Jacques indicated he would be out of the country for the Planning Commission hearing and <br />may not be back for the Febmary 24 Council meeting, but he remains keenly interested in the <br />process moving forward. We have not approached any neighbors to find their interest level in <br />the sewer; however, we have been contacted by the owner of the first property on RuAim Road <br />who is rebuilding. That project has approved septic sites but the owner is potentially interested in <br />coimecting to the sewer instead of installing a septic system if the timing worics out. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt the following motion: <br />Moved by__, seconded by__, to conditionally approve 2000-2020 Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment Ul adding certain properties along Old Long Lake Road to the defined Metropolitan <br />Urban Service Area (MUSA) subject to review and comment by the Metropolitan Council, and <br />direct staff to submit the amendment to Metropolitan Council. Vote:___ayes,___nays.
