StafT Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends approval of variances to construct a 125 s.f. driveway and pad, located 50 ’ <br />south of the centerline of Long Lake Creek where no hardcover is permitted, and grading, filling <br />or excavating of more than 10 cubic yards within 75 ’ of the Creek, to serve as the access to a <br />future home, with the following conditions: <br />1. A 15’ culvert must be located underneath the driveway pad; <br />A grading permit application shall be made with the City for no more than the grading <br />and filling necessary to construct a 25’ x 25’ driveway pad; <br />Erosion control measures should be installed, inspected and approved by the City <br />prior to any construction activity; <br />Application and approval of the appropriate permits from the Minnehaha Creek <br />Watershed District is required prior to City permit approval; and <br />The applicant is advised that fiiture driveway construction within 75 ’ of the Creek <br />will require additional future approvals. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />^ i <br />M3-2868 John E.
