Plaaning Staff Recommendation <br />Although the majority ol the Planning Commission concluded that the large 0-75 ’ area and relatively <br />small 75 ’- 250’ area is a hardship to the property; Staff is not convinced that the level of 36.8% is <br />warranted for this specific rebuild. Council should discuss the merits of this request and reach a <br />conclusion as to what level of hardcover is appropriate to the site. <br />i <br />Planning Department Staff recommends approval of the average lakeshorc setback variance; and <br />should the Council find that there is a hardship inherent to the land supporting a hardcover variance an <br />appropriate level should be dctemiincd. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Direct Stair to draft a resolution reflecting Council’s action for adoption at your December meeting.
