EXHIBIT A <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 78-330 (B) AND DENYING A VARIANCE <br />TO ZONING CODE SECTION 78-1435 <br />FILE NO. 04-3054 <br />WHEREAS, Jon Blackstone and Gail Blackstone, husband and wife <br />(hereinafter “tlic applicants”) are the owners of the property located at 4475 Forest Lake <br />Landing within the City of Orono (hereinafter the “City”) and legally described as <br />follows: <br />Lots 22 and 23, TONKAVIEW GARDENS, HENNEPIN COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA <br />(hereinafter the “property”); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br />for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-330 (B) to allow construction <br />of a new residence on an existing lot where the lot width is 110 feet at the public right-of- <br />way when 140 feet is normally required, and a variance to Section 78-1435 to allow the <br />continuation of an accessory building located between the residence and the front lot line <br />where no such structure is allowed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City .ouncil of <br />Orono, Mimiesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #04-3054. <br />The property is located in the LR - IB zoning district, which requires a <br />minimum lot area of 1 acre.
