designated as floodway in the flood insurance study, including without <br />limitation the surface and shoreline of Lake Minnetonka below elevation <br />929.4 MSL, the surface and shoreline of other lakes, ponds and wetlands <br />below the ordinary high water elevation, and the designated floodway of <br />all streams and flowage areas. <br />Flood fringe district (FFD). The flood fringe district shall include those <br />areas designated as floodway fringe in the flood insurance study, including <br />without limitation the shoreline of Lake Minnetonka between elevations <br />929.4 MSL and 931.5 MSL, the area between the floodway and the edge <br />of the 100-year flood on all other lakes, ponds and streams, all designated <br />sheet flow areas, all intermittent streams, and ponding areas and all lands <br />containing soil types classified as wetlands soils, whether or not there is <br />water standing on those soils at any given time. <br />(3) General floodplain district (GFP). The general floodplain district shall <br />include those areas studied by approximate methods and designated as <br />unnumbered A zones by the flood insurance rate map. GFP areas may <br />include both floodway and flood fringe areas. Development of lands <br />containing designated GFP areas shall be contingent upon submittal by the <br />developer of topographic data (at contour intervals of no greater than two <br />feet) and/or otlier engineering analysis sufficient for the city to detennine <br />the actual extent of the floodway and/or the flood fringe.
