I am opposed to any further encroachments on the
trail. As you know. I am familiar with the Trail in this area. This is becoming an increasingly busy trail corridor
with a variety of multiple uses. I believe we should keep to the DNR setbacks and if this is actually new
construction I would like to see the country club meet the 50* setback. (I think this is consistent with previous
decisions regarding setbacks in general, although we don't often deal with Luce Line Trail setbacks, in particular.)
I can ’t attend the meeting (I'm teaching again on Monday evenings), so please share my comments with the PC
commissioners.
Sandee Smith
6/29/2004
