4.2 Upon terminaiion of this agreement, all property owned jointly by the Task Force members <br />shall be sold or distributed to the members of the Task Force at the time of dissolution in proportion <br />to the “full-time equivalent" contributions of each member of this agreement as approved by the <br />Board as of the date of dissolution. Personal property shall return to the agency/owner. <br />5. Administrative Board. <br />5 The governing board of the \ ask Force shall be a Board of Directors consisting of the Chief <br />Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO), or designee representing each participating unit of government. <br />The chief law enforcement officer or designee of each agency shall be hereinafter referred to as a <br />director. All directors shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority. <br />5.2. Directors shall not be deemed employees of the Task Force and shall not be compensated by <br />it. <br />5.3 The Board will delegate the authority and responsibility of carrying out the purpose of the <br />Task Force to the Task Force Supervisor. <br />5.4 The Board shall meet as needed to evaluate the progress of the Task Force. A meeting may <br />be called by any Director, or the Task Force Supervisor. <br />5.5 The Board may approve contracts, including agreements for the rental of real property, incur <br />expenses and make expenditures necessary and incidental to the effectuation of its purposes and <br />consistent with its powers. <br />5.6. The Board may recommend changes in this Agreement to its members. <br />5.7. The Board may receive real or personal property by grant, devise, or bequest for the use of <br />the Task Force. <br />6. Powers and Duties of the Task Force <br />6.1 To accomplish the objectives herein, all Task Force members shall assign at least one peace <br />officer licensed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes § 626.34, subd.l, to the Task Force who must have a <br />minimum of one year prior experience in lav enforcement. <br />6.2 Each officer/deputy must be assigned to the Task Force on a full-time basis for at least one <br />year unless hc/she is reassigned by the head of ihe officer/deputy’s agency upon the <br />lecommendation of the Task Force supervisor. <br />i <br />OR APT W2&04 2
