State law provides that Cities shall make decisions <br />on zoning requests within 60 days from the date of application, and that this review <br />period may be extended by notification to the applicant. Your application was received <br />on March 17, 2004 and the 60-day review period would end on May 16, 2004. Since the <br />Planning Commission .‘»nd City Council have recommended denial of your request to <br />keep the boathouse, your amended application for a conditional use permit caimot be <br />heard until after May 16, 2004. Therefore, the 60-day review period is hereby extended <br />an additional 60 days to July IS, 2004. <br />As discussed during our on-site meeting following the Planning Commissions <br />recommendation, construction of the house may begin following approval and receipt of <br />a building permit and demolition of the existing house and boathouse. Your amended <br />request for a conditional use permit to conduct land alterations within 75’ of the lake will <br />be placed on the first available Planning Commission agenda following receipt of the <br />required plans.
