The proposed
improvements include removing an existing boathouse and constructing a series of boulder retaining walls to
siabiUre the shoreline embankment. We have the following comments with regards to engineering maaers;
The plans should include proposed erosion controls. All silt fence should be the heavy duty type with
steel t-posts.
The planting schedule should identify the heists of the full grown plants. All proposed plantings shall
be at least 4-feet in height to screen the retaining walls. Without adequate screening the walls will
appear to be 18-feet tall from the lake.
All erosion control measures should be inspected and approved by the city prior to any work cn site.
The erosion control should be rr.aiatained and remain in place until the vegetation is established and
the slopes are stabilised.
If you have any questions please call me at (651) 604-4863.
Yours very truly,
BONESTROO.
