Starting in June. I will be spending a <br />majority of my time in Colorado and will no longer reside in Orono. <br />I have appreciated the opportunity to serve the community and to help shape <br />your decisions regarding Parks’ planning and funding. I trust that the <br />Commission will continue to provide helpful advice to you and encourage you to <br />work more closely with them. I wish you continuing success in pushirig forward <br />the City's outdoor recreation opportunities’ agenda. <br />I am encouraging my neighbor, Steve Charrier to apply to fill the Commission <br />seat being vacating. Mr. Charrier is a young, energetic father of two small boys, <br />both of whom are already enjoying Orono’s parks and playgrounds. I think Mr. <br />Charrier* interests in the outdoors and status as a parent would contribute <br />greatly to the Commission’s discussions and the Council would benefit from his <br />advice. I urge you to consider him seriously when he appears before you. <br />Thank you for allowing me to serve Orono and its residents. Our City is well <br />endowed with features filled with natural beauty, making it a highly desirable <br />community in which to live.
