Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />(952) 249-4600 <br />ZONING FILE; 03-2962 <br />NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br />DATE OF NOTICE: January 22,2004 <br />TO:Robert & Joanne Switz <br />5930 Boulder Bridge Lane <br />Shorewood, MN 55331 <br />COPIES: <br />TYPE OF APPLICATION:Lot Area & Hardcover Variances <br />DATE OF MEETING: January 20,2004 <br />Planning Commission recommended as follows: <br />Motion by Commissioner Hannaford, seconded by Commissioner Mabusth to approve <br />the plans as submitted which consist of the following; <br />1.Approval of a lot area variance to allow a rebuild on a lot which is 0.47 acres <br />in size when 0.50 acres is normally required. <br />2. Approval of a hardcover variance to allow 38.6% hardcover in the 75’-250’ <br />zone when 39% currently exists and 25% is normally allowed. <br />VOTE:FOR AGAINST <br />Applicant’s next meeting is tentatively scheduled for: <br />City Council - Monday, February 23,2004; meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. <br />If you desire certified copies of the official Planning Commission or Council minutes, <br />they are available from the City Recorder after review and approval by the Planning <br />Commission or Council. If you have questions, please call City Planner Janice Gundlach <br />at 952-249-4623. <br />60-Day Review Period Extension. State law provides that Cities shall make decisions <br />on zoning requests within 60 days from the date of application. The City has made an <br />initial 60-day extension which will expire on February 19, 2004. The applicant is <br />required to request extensions beyond the initial 60-day extension. Because the <br />application cannot be heard by the City Council at the January 26, 2004 meeting, please <br />submit to the City your request in writing to extend your project ’s review period <br />another 60-days so that your project can be heard at the February 23, 2004 City <br />Councii meeting. <br />\
