§ 11.40 <br />SEC. 11.40. ROAD DEDICATION AND RESERVATIONS. <br />Subd 1. New Perimeter Streets. Street systems in new <br />subdivisions shall.be laid out so as to eliminate avoid new <br />perimeter half-streets. Where an existing half-street is adDacent <br />► o a new subdivision, the other half of the street sh?.ll be <br />improved and dedicated by the subdivider. The City may authorize a <br />new oeriraeter street where the subdivider improves and dedicates <br />the entire required street right-of-way width within his own <br />subdivision boundaries. <br />Subd., 2. Wiiening and Realignment of Existing Roads. <br />Where a subdivision borders an existing narrow ^°ad or when the <br />romorehensive Municipal Plan or some other agency indicates plans <br />for realianment or widening a road that would require use of <br />of the land in the subdivision, the subdivider shall be or <br />improve and dedicate at his expense such areas for <br />realignment of such roads.
