The maximum height for seasonal dwelling proposed <br />in excess of 800 s.f. with a water-activated toilet requires on ­ <br />site sewage treatment system. <br />The existing cabin on Lot 1 is located within both the <br />lakeshore protected area and the flood plain. <br />Review of Application #1783/1784 - Lot 2 <br />610 Big Island <br />As applicant's addendum notes, he is in the process of <br />purchasing property with a Contract for Deed. It is Mr. <br />Carlson's intention to build a new structure within the proposed <br />building envelope. Review Exhibits R and S. The existing cabin <br />is located out of the lakeshore protected area but within the <br />flood plain of Lake Minnetonka. Applicant must provide deadline <br />date for removal of existing "now" non-conforming structure. Mr. <br />Carlson has advised that the structure is not worth saving and <br />must be demolished. The structure is shown at a maximum height <br />at 23'. <br />Foundation for the seasonal cabin on Lot 2 will be of the <br />same type of design as the one to be installed on Lot 1. Once <br />again the MCWD has stated that compensatory excavations will not <br />be required as long as the design of the structure will allow <br />water to flow freely beneath it. <br />Any recommendation of approval must include the following <br />conditions : <br />1. Upon application for a building permit, applicant must <br />provide the following: <br />A. Foundation design by either a certified architect or <br />engineer. <br />B. <br />C. <br />Permit from the MCWD. <br />Topographic detail confirming elevation of first <br />habitable floor (minimiun 932.5). <br />D.Drainage plan to include erosion control. Such measures <br />must be in place during the construction.
