■ 1 <br />MINIITBS OP THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING PEBROARY 20, 1990 <br />ATTENDANCE 7:00 P.M. ^ ^ -..u ..v The Orono Planning Commission met on the above date with the <br />following members present: Chairman Kelley; Planning <br />Commissioners Cohen, Hanson, Bellows and Brown. The following <br />represented the City staff: Building 6 Zoning Administrator <br />Mabusth, Assistant Planning & Zoning Administrator Gaffron and <br />City Recorder Scheffler. Council Representative Goetten attended <br />and Councilmember Callahan was also present. <br />#1490 K-P PROPERTIES <br />340/350 NORTH ARM LANE <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION LOT LINE REARRANGl <br />PUBLIC HEARING 7:04 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. <br />The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing were <br />duly noted. <br />Mr. Don Peterson and his partner was present for this Public <br />Hearing. <br />Mr. Peterson said that he had a purchase agreement for Lot 1 <br />contingent upon there being a satisfactory solution <br />aeptic system. He said that this is a one-time opportunity to <br />develop both lots to the full potential. He requested that the <br />lot line rearrangement be approved without the additional 17 of <br />right-of-way was reserved and he unde* , that the City would <br />like to have 50' of right-of-way. Mr. Peterson said that he <br />would have no objection to the additional right-of-way, but it <br />will interfere with the septic system. Peterson said he had <br />talked with the property owners on the west side of North Arm <br />Lane regarding subdivision of their property. They could <br />dedicate 17' of right-of-way when they subdivide, but they are <br />not interested in subdividing at this time. <br />Chairman Kelley asked how far down North Arm Drive City <br />sewer extends. <br />Mabusth indicated the location on the map. <br />is? <br />Planning Commissioner Cohen asked how wide North Arm Lane <br />Mabusth replied that it is 33' wide and the City is <br />maintaining the roadway. <br />Planning Commissioner Hanson asked how a determination is <br />made in regard to which roads the City maintains. <br />f'iliiiiifiliii )it\ <br />(S'
