Zoning Code Amendment <br />February 10r 1992 <br />Page 3 <br />The use of lakeshore access <br />ov/ners is strictly limited. <br />lots for non-riparian <br />Placement of structures on lots will in many situations <br />mi.-:.: <br />;t,V^ <br />['■ <br />be more restricted than per current codes, especially <br />for the newly designated Natural Environment lakes, <br />where 150 foot OHWL setbacks for structures and septic <br />systems will significantly limit development. <br />Limitations on development of bluff Impact zones, <br />average lakeshore setback and hardcover restrictions <br />will also have a significant impact on rural properties <br />not previously subject to lakeshore regulations. <br />Stairways, lifts, landings, and lockboxes will be the <br />only structures allowed within the shore setback zone. <br />MW <br />Lakeshore vegetation alterations are more strictly <br />limited. <br />'• i j..y <br />Grading, filling and excavating within 75 feet of the <br />OHWL of all public waters will continue to be <br />prohibited and strict review procedures adopted for all <br />grading work within the overlay district. <br />All development in the overlay district shall be <br />subject to strict storm water managemenb standards. <br />■i.'A 1^' ^ <br />Commercial, public, semi-public, agricultural and <br />extractive uses will be subject to specific <br />regulations. <br />y <br />Water supply and sewage treatment systems shall be <br />subject to minimum standards. Nonconforming sewage <br />treatment systems will be required to upgrade based on <br />more restrictive standards than previously in effect. <br />a <br />Subdivisions will continue to be regulated based on <br />suitability of the land for development. <br />mmkm Planned Residential Developments (PRD's) within shorelands <br />will become more strictly regulated, with development densities <br />consistent with or more restrictive than the standards of the <br />underlying zoning district.
