Stephanie has arranged a <br />doamion of software that was used to create and maintain the police web site. The software <br />manufacturer has a special sale in progress that will allow us to tr^e in this old software for the <br />current version. Without the donation of the old software, the City's cost to purchase the software <br />would be about S750. With accepting the donation of the old software and having the intention of <br />trading it on the new software, the City's cost is reduced to about $350. The donation Stephanie has <br />arranged will thus save the City about $400. The City will then own the software necessary to <br />support and maintain the police department web site. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />A motion to accept the donation of Dreamweaver Ultradev software from Stephanie Grande.
