The previous owner was notified, by the <br />attached letter from City staff and during numerous subsequent conversations over a long <br />period of time that the subject deck was constructed in violation of City Codes and <br />without a building permit. <br />This letter is your official notification that the deck remains in violation of City Codes. <br />The City requires that the deck be removed or a variance must be obtained in ordw bring <br />the property into compliance. A variance application is enclosed and a meeting with City <br />staff is required prior to submittal. Please remove the deck or complete the application <br />and schedule a meeting with me prior to December 13,2004 to avoid legal action by the <br />City. <br />Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.
