«VV CITY OF ORONO SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT Date luucd: Date of Event: August 8, 2005 Saturday, August 27,2005 Type of Event: Tine: Location of Evt at: Yard Party with Music Noon • Mi^ight 1453 Park Drive Name of Pcrson(a) And/or Organiaation Sponsoring this Event: Laura Welch Riviere 1453 Park Drive Orono,MN 55364 Phone: 952-472-8962 The following documents are required and on file at the City Administrative Offices: • Approval from Orono Police Department • Approval from Orono Building and Zoning Department The following conditions have been placed on this event: • By acceptance of this special event permit, the permit holder, on behalf of any and all organizations and private persons, is granted authority to operate under the special event permit, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Orono from all claims arising from said event. The permit hol^r, all organizations and private persons exercising authonty under this permit, do waive and release all claims against the City of Orono, its officers or employees for any damage to person or property arising from the exercise of privileges granted by this permit and agrees to hold harmless the City of Orono, its employees and oiTicers from any such claim. • The Orono Police Department and its officers are empowered to revoke this special event permit at any time for any safety concerns that are not immediately resolved by the permit holder or a representative of the permit holder. This revocation shall cause the immediate cancellation of the event originally authorized by this pen. lit. • Parking should be limited to oue side of Park Drive. Applicant has indicated many of the guests will be arriving via boat. The Orono Police Department has notified Mernepin County Water Patrol of the event. • Live music to be allowed from 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Police reserve the right to end the music K the sound becomes unmanageable and/or creates too many complaints in the opinion of the on duty police supervisor. • Notification to be provided to the neighborhood regarding the even* ictivities, hours, and a coi;.act name and phone number for any questions or concerns regarding this event. • If liquor is available, it is not to be provided to persons under the age of 21. • Police may issue citations for any city or state ordinance or statute violations.
