AtINUTES OP THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Monday, July 18,2005 <br />6:00 o’clock p.m. <br />Larkin stated that would be living space. <br />Rahn inquired whether there are any setback variances being requested. <br />Curtis stated they are requesting a 10-foot lake setback variance. <br />Winkey stated aside from the retaining walls and the brick walk, there does not appear to be any other <br />hardcover that could be removed. Winkey noted the overall structural coverage is being reduced on this <br />lot with the new proposal. <br />Jurgens inquired whether all of the decks have been approved. <br />Curtis stated the decks have not changed and were reviewed as part of a different application in 2003. <br />Jurgens inquired whether the decks were approved in 2003. <br />Oaffiron stated the decks were the subject of a variance application a number of years ago. <br />Bremer moved, Winkey seconded, to recommend approval of Application 805-3138, Dan Larkin of <br />DBH Larkin Construction on behalf of Sandra Benson, 1376 Baldur Park Road, granting of <br />hardcover variances In the 0-75* lone and 75 ’-2S0’, a lake setback variance, and a structural <br />coverage variance In order to remove an existing detached garage and construct an attached garage <br />to the existing home, with the condition that the brick walk and decorative stones be removed. <br />VOTE: Ayes 6, Nays 1, Jurgens Opposed. <br />Jurgens stated he does not feel there has been a conqilete submittal of the hardcover on this property. <br />PLANNING COMMlSSldN^OMMENTS <br />17.
